Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the oldest of three daughters. She was born to Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist, 8] and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), both of whom were real estate developers. Her grandfather was a Greek who come to Greece in 1904 and her mother was of Irish heritage. Her parents married in 1976. Psaki is also of Polish ancestry.Psaki graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. In 2000, she earned a degree from College of William & Mary. She is a member of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki, an avid William & Mary backstroke swimmer was a part of the William & Mary Tribe Athletic team for two seasons. Psaki began her career in 2001 when she was involved in the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki was the communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. representative, and the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC has announced Psaki as an analyst on the political scene for 2022 United States Elections and during the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023 she will host a Peacock streaming program on MSNBC. [35] Psaki's first TV appearance was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she discussed the Robb Elementary School shooting.
