Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 January 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a political candidate and a television host at MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they would be leaving the show in order to start their own project titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a cohost on Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared on guest appearances in shows such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) and CNN (CNBC). As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball attributes her increased enthusiasm for politics to having an expectant mother in 2008's primaries. Additionally, she was a witness to the US election outcome during her time in Jordan. She was able see the impact it had on people in her home country and gained an appreciation for the worldwide impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellowship of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the 2010 election, losing to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She was the host of The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 to July 2015. She founded the People's House Project (a political action committee that supports Democratic causes) in May 2017.
